Restrict document types in a library

I thought I had seen one time before that this could be done but at the
time didn't have arequirement to do it so I didn't save it.

Is it possible to limit the types of douments a document library holds
to docs of a specific type? i.e... Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, pdf's.

In prticular .pdf's

In WSS v3, you could use an ItemAdding Event Receiver.

I was hoping for a "non-developer" solution since I am
as about as far away from being a developer as I can be.
