Reset MOSS 2007 to the original install state?

Asked By: Hemali Makwana         Date: Aug 19, 2009      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 409

Is there a way to reset MOSS 2007 to the original install state? Can I just
delete all the sites and SSPs? Or do I need to reinstall MOSS? The problem
is I have messed up the SSP that has the administration site in it. I can
get to the site, but I am getting lots of errors thrown to the event log. I
would like to just redo it all. Should I just reinstall or is there a
repair?

Hope you are doing good, i'll say that if you will
reinstall SPS you may trapped in big problem because one's you
delete SPS it will not work properly and that will be more painful.
I'll suggest that delete the sites and pools and then re-create the
site with new pools and with new database also.
