Request references on MOSS 2007 Records or Document Center

I have been asked to look into setting up a Records Center or Document Center as
a separate site from our main SharePoint MOSS site.

Can anyone give me some references to the process, the key configuration issues,
and any limitations in the size (TB or number of documents) that I might
encounter?

There are some things you need to know. Only one Record Center and Document
Center per site collection. Document Center supports assigning tasks to users
automatically and sending email to the user about that task automatically. Other
requirements as far a limitations would be MOSS requirements. What questions do
you have?
