Reporting services Reports stopped working. IIS or Registry issue?

Asked By: Norma    Date: Nov 20    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1574

We have Win Server 2003 R2. Sql server 2005. Reporting services is working in Integrated mode. Everything was working fine. We were able to see reports but now, we get an error when we try to execute a report:

For security reasons DTD is prohibited in this XML document. To enable DTD processing set the ProhibitDtd property on XmlReaderSettings to false and pass the settings into XmlReader.Create method.

As I understand, this is a vague error message and doesn't point to real issue. When I checked SQL server logs, I see two error messages:

1) Message

SSPI handshake failed with error code 0x8009030c while establishing a connection with integrated security; the connection has been closed. [CLIENT: xx.xx.xx.xxx]

Message

Error: 17806, Severity: 20, State: 2.

2) Login failed for user ''. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. [CLIENT: xx.xx.xx.xxx]

Error: 18452, Severity: 14, State: 1.

I don't know how to go about fixing it. Please help!

I came across this post on net but not sure about it.. www.bhcblog.com/.../

It was an IIS issue. An update caused a config error.
