In WSS V2, EditInDatasheetMode is not present.

Please--- does V3 have this capability?

This LONG link says---

I found the solution:
If you have MS Access 2007 installed on your machine you can go into
the Views menu and "Create" a new view. One of the view type options
in the dialogue is MS Access View. Follow that through and it will
open Access on your machine and populate it with the list...in this
case even your picture library list.

You can then do whatever edits or changes you want and "Publish" it
back to the website which will prompt you to save the new "form" with
name and location of your choice on the website.

So all the posts on this and other forums I have seen that indicate
there are no built-in data connections between picture libraries  and
Access and Excel are accurate only for pre-Office 2007 releases.
