Hi - We are starting a project in our org to redesign a old sharepoint site ( wss 2.0 ) and also planning to move to sharepoint 2010 .

Would appreciate any inputs in this context esp. wrt to approach of redesigning and migrating to 2010 same time .

We know that we need to first upgrade to 3.0 and then to 2010 ( we are not using any tools ) . But then when do we apply our new layouts ? Can we start developing the new layout in a 2010 development box and import these into PROD after we migrate PROD wss 2.0 to PROD 2010 ?
