"Recent added documents" list

Asked By: Jagdish    Date: Feb 14    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 5687

I want to create a new webpart in our corporate dashboard which displays a list
of all recently added documents so everyone can see directly what has happened
during the last hours/days. I searched through the newsgroups and didn't succeed
finding a solution for that. Any ideas, code, etc. how to accomplish that?

You are really asking for the results of a Indexing Service request for
items added  after X-DateTime. Look for a webpart  that returns IS results
and modify the query. Haven't done DD myself, so can't help on design.

I have configured only the .dwp file of the the undelete wp. With your
recent docs added  webpart i even had the same probs with the editor. This
time i configured straight on the site. Copied the script and XML into
Editor configured it and put the new code  back into the advanced settings
boxes for the Webpart. this seems to work all the time. I guess the saving
of a webpart  with editor or notepad or whatever changes the configuration of
the file. Don't know what it is as the ending .dwp stays the same.

Try it this way. Hope it works. thanks again for your recent... WP works
just fine.
