Can someone help me out with understanding the more difficult filters for data/list views? Some are self-explanitory, while others I have some questions about.

Example:

Field Name Comparisson Value And/Or
Created Less than or equal to [Input Parameter] And
In this example, I am not really sure what the "Input Parameter" does and how to use it. Also you can choose a date, but it doesn't allow you to use say 90 days or 30 days, is there anyway to be able to retire a list item from a current view in say 90 days from current date using this filter? If not is there another method to accomplish the same?
