Publishing to all team sites problem under the portal

The following is the scenario:

I have an Event's or calendar web part instance on our Portal - (Share Point
Portal 2003).

Is there any way that when I publish an event in that particular event web
part.it gets automatically published (depending on the rights the user has)
on all team sites under that portal.

E.g. If I have 3 wss team sites under that portal (with each having an event
web part).. The event gets published on their event web parts as well...

Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.. (any free 3rd party
tool will also be appreciated)

There isn't anything to do this in the UI - you'll need to do one of the
following:

1) See if there's an existing 3rd party solution (I'm not aware of one)

or

1) Setup a team site or portal area with open permissions to all users, create
your list there
2) Create a Data View that links to the event list
3) Export the Data View and import a copy to each team site
