Public Facing MOSS 2007 Site

Can anyone point me towards some good
samples/whitepapers/websites/documentation on creating a public facing
anonymous access website in MOSS 2007.

There will be no internal component to this site other than the actual
content editing/publishing I guess. So I need to unserstand how to
setup MOSS to create content by forcing content authors to login but at
the same time display this content on a public facing website that is
anonymous in access and would not show login webpart, etc. The client
wants the site heavily customized so it doesn't look like a typical
MOSS site all.
