Projects in SPS(V2)

Asked By: Jyoti    Date: Jan 17    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 646

I've been trying to make sence with topics, audiences, sites, groups
and try to make them to serve me as a project base.

I still don't quite get it. I'm not sure which to use to make
different projects accesible to different people.

Please answer me, how would I make project in SPS?
What are your recomendations about what should I use to distinct
projects? And what if the projects are on the same site?

Topics are a way of categorizing content to make it easy to find, audiences  are
a way to "push" targeted content to users, groups are a way of grouping users
together to make access administration easier. If what you want is to create
"projects" you'll either want to use sites  or areas. Sites are mainly geared
toward collaborative activites - ones where multiple people  are submitting and
interacting on information. Areas are more geared toward a small number of
"publishers" pushing information to a specific set of users.
