Programmatically export specific docs by docprofile

Asked By: Sally    Date: Sep 30    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 825

is there any way to programmatically export documents from the doclibrary to
any share by using the doc profiles. We are using our portal as a means to
present an deliver our software doumentation to our client. So what we do
not want to deliver for example are external links to documents or docs that
are for internal use only etc.

Am thankful for any suggestions???

I know of two ways to do this that someone else has already
done. If you go to www.spsfaq.com there are some simple export  /
import scripts you can use and actually set it up to only export
docs based on a profile value. You could also use the spspublisher
that you should be able to find on that site as well. I have used
both in the past and they have worked for me. If you have any questions
or need some help let me know.
