Produce Printable reports from sharepoint list

Maybe I am missing something, but is there anyway way to produce
reports from a sharepoint list? I realize the goal is to keep data
online, but there are still needs to print. Is there any way in SSRS
to get to sharepoint list data?

Not by default, but Enesys offer a Reporting Services add-on/connector which
allows you to report against SharePoint lists. Another way is to export a
SharePoint list  out to Access 2007 and do the reporting in Access.

If you just need to print  the list  there is a really nice print list
feature on codeplex. We are using it, and it works like a charm

I was really hoping for more complex reporting
than just a single list. I found Enesys but was wondering if there
were any native options, or anything planned before I spend the money
on an external tool.

Anyway use the Enesys tools?

FYI, you can also create DataView web parts using sharepoint  Designer for
master/detail type of reporting. However, using SharePoint Designer does
not provide printing capability. Here is one link for using SPD:
