Problems creating a folder

We have a user who is in our Coordinators security group that cannot
create any folders. She can delete files but not copy folders.

We are using SPSv1.

Any ideas why this is happening.

Make sure the folder  she is trying to use is inheriting the correct security
from the parent folder. Are you sure your security  group is set to have
Coordinator privileges? If you have just added her into the group, she may need
to log off and back on to receive the new access permission.
