Problems Accessing Default SSP

Asked By: Akeem Strong         Date: Feb 19, 2007      Category: MOSS      Views: 255

I just installed MOSS in a small server farm. As one of my
configuration steps, I created an SSP account (there wasn't one created
by default). I can get to the properties of the SSP; however when I try
to got to the Shared Services Administration site, I keep being
prompted to authenticate. I try using the account specified under SSP
Service Credentials, but without any luck. I've tried login in with
other domain accounts, but without success.
I also tried adding my account under Policy for Web Application and
gave myself full control.
