Problem with the web folder

On my computer or on the server, I have no problem to add the web folder
towards the folder of the workspace.

But when I do this on a workstation, I can create the web folder in My
Network Places towards the workspace but when I click on this, it doesn't
find any documents... The folder is empty even if people have reader
access...

What is the problem? Because it's tedious because with Office Applications,
the web folder is the simplest method to add or change documents...

you have to install the client on the workstation  ???

No i haven't had the client.

After installation of the client, that's work fine.
