Problem with Office 2000

Asked By: Krysta    Date: Oct 16    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 640

Users work with Office 2000 and when we add a document on the SPS site by
the menu Save as of Word or Excel, Office doesn't ask for profile
information about document as on Office XP.

Has it a solution to do it with Office 2000 or a program to do it ?

Did you do the client install on the users machine?
We have only seen this problem  a few times and this is the most common
reason.

Yes I have installed the client on the user machine.
We don't have problem  to save the document but we want to have a window to
complete the document profile as on office  XP.
Is it possible with Office 2000 or not ?

Maybe it is as simple as this.
First you save then you click again on file and check in.

Yes but in the case of a standard document, we can't do this.

That is right : in case of a standard folder, you do not have to fill in a
document profile : only for enhanced folders.
