Problem with Metadata

Asked By: Ali    Date: May 28    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 634

I am copying a FORM from one form library to another form library(in another
site) successfully using folder.add method BUT I THE METADATA VALUES ARE NOT
BEING COPIED IN THE DESTINATION FORM LIBRARY(in another site), its taking the
default metadata values.
This I am doing programatically in the document event handling class when a
metadata value changes to a specific values ex: when the metadata "MyBoss" value
changes from "ABoss" to "BBoss". Where "ABoss" is default value of the metadat
in both (source and destination site) libraries. The value, of metadata "MyBoss"
change (from "ABoss" to "BBoss") is reflected in Source Form Library but it is
not reflected in Destination Form Library. The same case with "MyRemarks"
Metadata used for remarks - the metadata value is not copied.
Its working fine for WORD documents ie the metadata ("MyBoss" and "MyRemarks")
values are also copied in the destination document library without any problem.
But its not working this way for forms in form library.
By the way I created the form(as well as word) libraries by creating folders in
SPSPERS folder of webserver.
Please help me out in solving this problem.
