Problem mapping drives with Windows XP

I am having an odd problem with our Sharepoint Portal system. Any
system running Windows 2000 can map a drive to the documents folder on
our Portal but so far no one running Windows XP has been able to do
so. The Sharepoint server is running on a standalone server with its
own user database. At the moment we are using clear text
authenication menthod.

If anyone has any suggestions on why XP is having problems mapping
drives please let me know.
