I'm having a problem with the Default Content Access Account. I
changed it to another account with more permissions on our intranet
using the /sps/SearchServiceManagement.aspx screen (the root being the
SPS Central Admin Page). However when I started a new full crawl it
was still using the old account. I noticed on another Central Admin
screen sps/SearchSettingsFarm.aspx that the old account remained.

I thought the problem might have been that the new account was not a
member of the SharePoint Administration Group. That has been corrected
and I reapplied the change of account on
the /sps/SearchServiceManagement.aspx page. But still the two pages
show different accounts.
