Has anyone worked out a way of including document properties like version
number, filenames when printing a SPS V1 document.

I haven't seen an actual solution to this that is applicable to all
situations. What I have had to do in the past is create macros in the
documents that go out to SharePoint Portal Server and retrieve that
information and place it in the document. This is not the easiest thing to
do and I have not seen a solution yet that is completely satisfactory.

One caveat though, this is working with V1. I have not yet done enough with
v2 to figure out if it is easier to do.

If you need some information to get you started let me know.
