Preview InfoPath from browser possible ?

Asked By: Bhavani Chag         Date: Jan 01, 2010      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 356

Using Visual Studio 2008 to develop (browser compatiable) Infopath forms.
Running preview invokes the local Infopath client environment. Is there a way to
preview/test/run the form from a browser (locally)?
There is access to a Sharepoint server running Infopath services.
Intent is to avoid the round trip of publishing, switching platforms,
updating...etc when I'm just trying things out rapidly and repeatedly.

I don't believe it's possible. You will need to publish to a server running
InfoPath services. Once you publish the first time, the publishing got a lot
faster.
