We had a SQL server crash this morning and have tried restoring the
SharePoint databases to a new server. I have connected successfully
to the new SQL server and my configuration has no listed problems. My
issue is that I can't change the content DB server on the portal
sites - when I try to manage them I get the message that the SQL
server does not exist (they are still pointing to the failed SQL
server). Does anybody have any ideas on how I can change the SQL
server to the new one for the sites?
