Portal creation failed

I am trying to restore a Portal and it fails with the following error.

10:58:33 Enter RecoverSite()
10:58:33 Portal creation failed System.ApplicationException: The user
profile database specified is already in use by another component of
the farm at Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Admin.c.a() at
Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Admin.c.f()
10:58:33 Enter SearchConfigure()

I couldn't find any KB article for this error. Can someone shed some
light on this issue?
