Populating Document Meta Data

Is there a way of populating document meta data with the current
authenticated user who is uploading the document/s???

If the doc is uploaded one at a time, then the columns will present themselves to be populated during the upload process. However, I’d suggest taking a look at K-Wise Deployer. This tool has the ability to upload multiple documents and assign metadata in the process. It’s a very cool tool.

I believe what you are looking for is to select some fields and use custom workflow on whole bunch of documets to populate their metadata. If you have trouble creating algorythms, try tools like jungledoc or avedoc.
