Populate document libraries with sample data

Asked By: Ariel    Date: Sep 03    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1619

Is there a way to populate document libraries on a list with sample data? (This
is only temporary for demonstration purposes, I don't need to test performance
or capacity.) I found the test data tool, but it seems it want to add 100
users, and add it's own document libs and files and pages and whatnot. I don't
need any of that, just something that will throw approximately 100 files into
specific document libraries of my choosing.

Will you need to do this multiple times? If not, you could just drag them
in using Explorer mode.

I need to do it for about 10 different document  libraries per site in about 4
different sites. Ideally the files  should be unique. I could probably do it,
pulling random stuff from various places, I just figured it would be easier to
do it with a tool  like this, if at all possible.
