PLM Solution

Asked By: Parvesh    Date: Dec 12    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 2006

Looking for feedback on PLM solutions that integrate nicely with SharePoint.

Also, I have been looking for drawing viewers to utilize within SharePoint
as well... for things such as Pro/E.

You can take a look on the following PLM products supporting SharePoint. This is not fully exhaustive list, of course.

1. Aras SharePoint PLM
2. PTC Product Point
3. TeamCenter Communities
4. Straitportal for ENOVIA SmarTeam

Oleg's response is a good one and covers a lot of the PLM products that integrate  with SharePoint. To add to the conversation, I would recommend reading Razorleaf's whitepaper on using sharepoint  and PLM together:

www.razorleaf.com/.../

SharePoint and PLM have functional overlap, but also have unique strengths. Another product to look at is D2M3's connector for SharePoint and SolidWorks' Enterprise PDM:

All the best,
