I am working with a SPS server(SP1), with only one
workspace, which has been configured to be access via the

I am trying to set permissions  on the document areas, but any
changes I make to the permissions have no effect, But every user or
group that has access to the workspace has author permissions on the
documents folder and any folder beneath. I have tried the reboot on
the server as suggested by other posts for permissions problems. Any
ideas on this?

Also could some one confirm that by setting reader
permissions on the root of a workspace means that the user
should not be able to change any of the workspace settings?

Also is there any way of restricting the Document Libary
area so that if a user who is not in the permissions list
does not have access. At present the user has full access
as if they were a coordinator.
