Permission Granularity

Asked By: Neal    Date: Apr 19    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1183

I need a more fined grained (as compared with the roles such as reader
writer etc) permission setup for SSPS docs in the form library. For example,
a document submitted should only be seen by the owner and one manager.

Has someone run into this?

This is one of my 'to dos' for this week to document  how to set up a
doc-library folder and secure it to a limited set of users and place docs
in that folder that is restricted. If someone has already done this please
post their steps here otherwise I will hope to have something here or on my
temporary blog by Wednesday. I plan on
migrating to a different blog provider in late April but will continue to
post my findings and work around WSS to infohub till then. Blog-spot does
not provide RSS feeds just ATOM and I know that Tim Heuers new Feedreader
webpart (v3) does support Atom as well as RSS!
