Page Title in IE7

I was wondering if anyone had an idea what might be going on here. We
have MOSS set up as a development site and we've been using SPD to set
up branding on a master page (copied a theme and have been altering that
one). That's all working (mostly). What has caught my eye, and is so
far unexplainable, is that occasionally the page title will remain on
the title bar at the top of the IE7 window even though I have navigated
to another area or even a totally different site.

What makes this more interesting is that the url remains in the address
field for the sp page I was on and the tab (in IE7) maintains the page
name even though I go to Yahoo or somewhere else. The url is not
functional - if I click the refresh button, it simply reloads whatever
page I am really on but leaves the SP url showing in the address field.

It doesn't happen every time I go to one particular page; it has
happened though several times over the last few days. This isn't really
a show stopper for our roll-out although I can imagine our help desk is
not going to be thrilled to hear about this. Has anyone else
experienced this or does anyone have any idea why this would be
happening. I'd love to know if it is something that we did or if we can
prevent this from happening.
