Outlook clients receive permissions errors when connection to a cale

Date: Oct 13    Category: MOSS    Views: 1634

MOSS Farm version 12.0.0.6421

2 front end web servers and 1 SQL backend server

Users can view/edit/interact with the list in question on the SP site itself
with no issues, they can also add the list to Outlook successfully. But when
they Send/Receive from within Outlook (2007) they receive this message:

Text of error if you cannot view the image: Task 'SharePoint' reported error
(0x80070005) : "You do not have permission to view this SharePoint List
(Calendar_Name). Contact the SharePoint site administrator. HTTP 302.'

From the log in ..\12\Logs I see this entry:
06/17/2011 13:11:34.00 w3wp.exe (0x1188)
0x1D98 SharePoint Portal Server Runtime
8gp7 Medium Topology cache updated. (AppDomain:
/LM/W3SVC/2111069021/Root-1-129527973275980927)

Anyone seen this before or have a suggestion to resolve it?

Looks like my email got a bit garbled, the subject line should have read:

"Outlook clients receive permissions errors when connection to a calendar list".

In other words, when users choose to connect to Outlook on an existing Calendar
they are able to add the calendar but receive the following error message when
their Outlook client performs a send/receive:

Task 'SharePoint' reported error (0x80070005) : "You do not have permission to
view this SharePoint List (Calendar_Name). Contact the SharePoint site
administrator. HTTP 302.'

Sorry for the double-post! Anyone have any ideas, I'm stumped and might have to
resort to chewing up a support incident with MPPS.
