Opening Photoshop files in Sharepoint 2003?

Asked By: Dale    Date: Jan 18    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1348

I've been running a Sharepoint 2003 portal for a year and a half now.

A user just complained that she can no longer "edit" an image and have
it automatically open in Photoshop.

I don't remember setting this up and am not sure if it can be done or not?

Can I setup a mapping in the docicon.xml that will allow me to force
image file types to open in Photoshop when editing? Or that might
allow an "Edit in Photoshop" to appear as a link for that file type?

Or do they have to save to desktop to edit images? Is that the only way?
