Using SPS in a drawing office environment I want .dwg (AutoCAD) files to
open in the user's default application for the file type - which is set to
either AutoCAD for the draftpersons and Volovue view for the readers only.
With SPS these files open in IE only, which is unacceptable. My programmer
tells me he can't use the ShellExecute function in VBScript, which would
allow him to make a custom webpart for these file types.

Also, I've heard that there is an add on for AutoCAD that will allow CAD
users to access SPS functionality from the program ie check in check out
publish menu options. I've been searching and can't find it anywhere.
