Opening Infopath forms from within a form library

Has anyone had trouble opening xml infopath forms?
A form has been built and setup as a template, but when selecting 'fill
out this form' it can take up to 5mins to open in infopath...any ideas
on how to overcome? Sys admins have looked at this, and there is no
extra load on the database at this time.
