I have an excel spreadsheet in a doc library the I just want to click
the hyperlink and open in Excel. By default, it tries to use ECS and I
dont have this doc lib secured for ECS ( and I dont want to). I am
just trying to do simple doc mgmt. Yes, I know i can drop open the
menu and select open it excel, but I want it to work the same for Excel
as it does for Word.
I have gone into advanced settings and set the "Browser-enabled
Documents" to open in client applications....with no luck.
It cant be this hard...what am I missing?
