Onenote and sharepoint

Asked By: Geena    Date: Jan 29    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 746

I'm using sharepoint to store our onenote notepads here. I have a question about
an error I'm seeing in Onenote and I think it may be a sharepoint

There is an error on one of the notebook tabs saying "Another onenote
application has created it but not yet updated it". However, I have two
machines, one at home and one at work, and both of them say the same thing when
I open this particular notebook. It was working on both machines for ages, and
as far as I know there has been no updates to that tab (it's just me that uses
Sharepoint here so that I can work from home more easily).

Other than deleting the errant tab, is there a way I can get sharepoint to think
that this tab has been updated? The reason I think it's sharepoint is just that
this hasn't happened using shared notebooks or single user notebooks.

Any ideas ?

I have experienced an issue with OneNote before where it wasn't able
to synch properly with SharePoint. Just right click on the Notebook
in OneNote and close it and then browse to your OneNote book in
SharePoint and just click on one of the files inside of it and it
should force your system to synch with SharePoint.
