Offline/local files synch

Does anyone know of a way to setup a document library to sych like
other network folders/ost files? I can access the library via "my
network places" but does not give the ability to make available
offline. We run SP Portal 2003-SP1. Appreciate any help on this.

I don't think there is any way to do this OOTB. There is at least 1 3rd party
tool (Groove) that does so though.
