Office 2003 and Sharepoint 2007

Asked By: Anushka    Date: Jan 06    Category: MOSS    Views: 836

Can anyone tell me of any issues with using office 2003 and Sharepoint
2007 in the same environment?

We also plan to maintain our portal 2003 server for the time being.
Office 2007 is not going to be deployed for at least a year.
All desktops are XP.
We are an AD environment.

You may be interested in reading through Microsoft's recently released white
paper on Office client suite integration with SharePoint 2007 available at:

Core issues in Office 2003 suite and WSS v3 platform deployments are mainly
the capabilities that Office 2007 offers which 2k3 does not, such as
synchronization versus one way sync.
