Number of emails

I was just wondering if there's any way that I can display the number of
emails in Ms Outlook for a user, in a separate web part ??. Just to display,
like, for eg.
" You have 9 emails in your Inbox " , or something similar to that. I am
trying to achieve this in order to populate my message center web part.
