Can not see "Manage content indexes"

To reset a Sharepoint search index Microsoft has given the steps in the
following page

office.microsoft.com/.../HA011604631033.aspx

When I follow the steps mentioned, I do not see any link of "Manage
content indexes" on the "Configure Search and Indexing" page.

Can anyone give me some idea on what I might be missing.

Did not read the entire page. Instead jumped directly in
the second section.

The document says that reset  of index  if possible only if you have
enabled advanced search  administration mode.
