not able to acces central administration and the portal sites create

I’m not able to access the site I have created as it’s giving the error message
“This page has encountered a critical error. Contact your system administrator
if this problem persists.”

This was happened when I changed ASP.NET Version in the properties of my site in
the IIS –ASP.NET from 2.0 which was the before to 1.1.4322.

I’m not able to access the Central Administration even saying “Server Error in
‘/’ Application”.

What can be the actual problem and what can be the possibilities to get this
error? And how can this be solved.

This has just stopped everything and I'm new to share point. I'm using the
Sharepoint 2003.

It sounds like you need to put the asp.net version  back to 2.0 since the
central administration  page is not rendering in the older version. Why
did you switch it to a lesser version of asp.net?
