My SharePoint server 2003 has been running fine for a year without much change.
Recently the admin installed WSS SP3, and coincidently after that the site can
no longer be accessed. It is strange that the sub-sites (under a Portal area)
are still accessible. Accessing the sub-sites and its
_layouts/1033/settings.aspx, ?Contents=1 etc. are still fine, but none of those
works for the home page. I went to the portal admin site and checked that the
user accounts required for this portal are still valid.
Does anyone have an idea what I should look for?
