Newly created AD Group is not adding into SharePoint

I have created a new AD group which I plan to populate with all my local
users and then create an audience in SharePoint so I can target certain content.
My problem is that when I create my audience in CA, I see all my AD groups but
not the group I have created. Is there a way to manually synch SP and AD so I
can view the newly created group?

Did you try synching with your using your SSP site?

Just a thought btu you could try adding  a t least one member to the group  and then see if it shows up when you browse. .
