Netscaler plus SSL with MOSS update...

First, from Citrix:

The initial issue of us not being able to actually see the MOSS pages
after login appears to be a redirect issue. There's a setting in
CONFIGURE SSL PARAMS in netscaler to turn on SSL Redirect.

From MOSS:

Microsoft support was less than helpful. After about 2 hours of
explaining that we were trying to get MOSS configured for off-farm SSL
termination over two separate phone calls I was finally told that
because this is a 3rd party load balancing device, it's not supported.

However, we poked around some more in AAMs and ended up with this:

Internal URL | Zone | Public URL for Zone
https://teams.courts.state.mn.us | Default | https://teams.courts.state.mn.us
http://teams.courts.state.mn.us | Default | https://teams.courts.state.mn.us

I'm not sure which one of those AAMs specifically fixed the issue, but
now we seem to be able to log into our MOSS farm via our Netscaler
load balancer doing the SSL termination and we're OK.

The last hurdle is existing hard-coded HTTP links in the MOSS sites.
For instance, people would upload an image to their image library,
navigate to the image, grab the URL, and then pasted that into an
image view web part on another page.

The problem is that links like that are *not* being re-written to
https, so you end up with the 'do you want to display non secure
items' error in the browser and you end up with broken links and

SHOULD those links be transformed? Is that something MOSS should be
doing? Is that another thing that AAM is supposed to resolve?
