Netbackup for Sharepoint

Is anyone out there using Veritas Netbackup add-ons for Sharepoint 2001?

I think we may have a requirement to use it since we have been having problems
with data loss and disk failures etc. MSDMBACK does not provide enough
functionality. Is anyone currently using netback for Sharepoint and if so, does
it do the job? Have you and any problems implementing it?

We have been usine Veritas over an year now for Sharepoint 2001, it
working fantastic.

Does it save versioning info and all the other metadata about each document?

As far as I am aware, it does as it also backs up system data and the related
database files etc.
