MySite(s) woes - Acceess rights?

Asked By: Callie    Date: Mar 15    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 837

I cannot seem to change some aspects of webparts in mysite.
For example if I want to modify things like Title, Height, Width of
web parts and it won't let me. If I hit Apply, Ok, or Cancel it just
does nothing. The only way I can get out of there is X the Modify Web
Part window. Also it WILL NOT let me add my calendar from Outlook.
I know we have the correct 'Exchange folder name' & 'Exchange folder
name.'

See, if you have any webpart  there with JavaScript, or a form. I have seen
instances where those will prevent you from modifying all webpart properties
for all webparts  on the page..

I deleted all three of the add-ons I put in there and it let me right
in. I wonder what will happen if I add  them on again. Interesting...

It will prevent you from modifying properties again.
As I said, it is either a web part with a form in it, or a web part with
java script.
That form or script would have to be refined.
