MySite Search Link Uses Wrong Site

Asked By: Thaddeus Wiggins         Date: Jun 28, 2007      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 322

Par of my upgrade procedure involved having to go back and change the
port on the main SharePoint portal to 80 and add an Alternative Access
Mapping (AAM).

I've noticed that the MySite Search is pointing to the original port:
//intranet:15000 , not the new default web of http://intranet
<http://intranet/> .

How do I fix this?

So what I've been able to determine is that the AAM I've put in for
//intranet:15000 to map over to //intranet is not working for some
reason.

I wonder why?
