We are in the process of implimenting SPS2003. An issue was broughtup in a meeting yesterday concerning whether multiple WSS sites willinhibit searching. Does having multiple WSS sites have any effect onsearching?
For SPS search, no. The only issue would be with WSS searches, as WSS search islimited to only the current site, no other sites or subsites/workspaces.
We have 1600 Team Sites, and search works fine. Configure your Index and Searchservers with a lot of disk space.
