Multiple Logons

I have set up our first couple of site collections on MOSS 2007. When I open
the first page it prompts for logon credentials. Then when I click the link to
another site collection it prompts again for logon credentials. In our WSS
2.0/Portal Server 2003 sites we only had to logon once and then could move
between site collections without additional logons. How can I get our MOSS site
to behave that way?

What "zone" does your browser consider the site to be in? IE6 will
autosend credentials only for the "Trusted" and "Intranet" zones out of
the box. IE7 and later will only autosend for the "Intranet" zone. To
autosend for other zones (not recommended) you'll need to change the
local IE settings for each client, or you can add the URL for the site
to one of the existing autosend-enabled zones.
