Multiple languages

Hope you all are in good health. I've been working on SPS for almost 3
months now.

Is it possible to have sites and sub sites in a different language then the
portal language?

e.g If I have SharePoint licensed in ARABIC and I want to use a subsite (in
English Template). Is it possible, or will it cause any problem?

Yes and no. SPS must use the same language  for everything in the farm. WSS has
the ability to use different languages  (using language templates) at the site
collection level.
